July 14-20, 2013 is EveryBody Deserves a Massage Week!
Massage therapists and bodyworkers nationwide are lending their time and talents to raise awareness of the benefits of massage, bodywork, and other touch therapies. Sheila invites you to participate by donating to the People’s Pantry of Metropolitan Community Church of Portland.
What to Donate?
The People’s Pantry provides food and personal-care items to individuals and families in need. Storage space at MCC is limited, so please donate according to the most current list of requests:
- Cans of peaches
- Cans of pears
- Cans of sardines
- Cans of tuna
- Canned SPAM or Treet
- Canned chili
- Pouches of 100% juice
- Cans of soup
- Small boxes of raisins
- Jars of peanut butter
More donations = More massage!
For every item you donate, earn $5 off your massage, up to 50% off a session:
$35 for an hour massage (regularly $70)
$45 for a 90-minute massage (regularly $90)
How to Redeem?
You may redeem your massage anytime after donating; we’ll write a receipt for your donation and make note of your massage credit. You can:
- Schedule with Hillary or Candace at the front desk in person
- Call us at 503-284-6195
- Book online
You’re also welcome to put your credit toward a beautiful gift certificate, which is available for purchase at the front desk.
How to Donate?
Please stop by during by Fertile Ground Family Center during EveryBody Deserves a Massage Week to make your donation.
Clinic hours are between 12pm-6pm, Monday-Wednesday and Friday.
Earlier drop-offs may be available Monday-Wednesday from 9am on, when Sheila is at Fertile Ground. Please call ahead to make sure she’s not busy with a client.
